Although Obsidian has a very quick search spanning the entire archive as if it were a flat list of notes, it could be beneficial to have big categories to separate fleeting notes (the inbox) from permanent notes (your own) and literature/reference notes (others'). Through this forum I discovered Keyboard Maestro. It's magical. That's what I used for the Quick Entry. I just created a macro in KM that triggers from the same key command that opens the quick entry dialogue, and it types that tag for me. -
