@davidrcalvert Do you have a link to the course description?
@GeoEng51, Building a Second Brain is a course on note-taking and information management by Tiago Forte. It isn't a cheap; runs something like $1500-2500. This is the course link: https://www.buildingasecondbrain.com
You can find reviews online from people who took the course. I haven't taken the course so can't tell either of you if it is worthwhile or not.
@davidrcalvert: I did bookmark a write-up from someone who tried to recreate the course from Forte's free content online a while back. You can find the article here: https://tanners.blog/2020/03/23/diy-second-brain/
@papa Thanks for this! I've been intrigued by this course, and wondered if there were any "free" versions available. This is a great resource... Thanks again!
@sepuku
You might also find two other bookmarks I have interesting:
1) Illustrated notes from someone who took the course. I just thought her very visual note-taking approach was neat, but it's also a good summary of the course: https://maggieappleton.com/basb
2) Forte has a good write up of Sohnke Ahrens "How to Take Smart Notes" (aka the only English-language book on Zettelkasten, for now). Here's the link: https://fortelabs.co/blog/how-to-take-smart-notes/
This covers the basics of Building a Second Brain by the creator of the system -

The linked blog post is free and the following blog posts / lessons only cost $10 for a subscription to Tiago Forte's Praxis blog.
Here's the second lesson https://fortelabs.co/blog/p-a-r-a-ii-operations-manual/
there are eight in total.
You can also get a lot of free info about it on youtube and so on.
