what is the language of this forum?
There is a bit of diversity in regards to how Zettelkasten concepts are named. When participating in this forum I want to match its language. Is it possible to create a fixed place about terminology preferred for this forum? I am thinking about a sticky thread or the forum guidelines.
It is really hard for me to keep track on this. Also preferences seem to change over time.
Here some examples:
- Zettelkasten vs slip-box
- Folgezettel vs sequence note
- Zettel vs note
- verzetteln vs note taking
also, a list of concepts would be helpful: object tag, topic tag, etc.

Yes. I talked with Christian a couple of days ago about a glossary which is highly needed.

it would also be great if it would list acronyms, as I am finding myself using them more frequently. Should we allow acronyms at all? I can imagine this could be a turn off for any new visitor to the forum.
community contributions, by any chance?

I think a glossary has always some normative power. Therefore, I hope I can make a good point to limit the use of acronyms.
