Interesting Quotes

I found this quote the other day, and thought I'd share it here, and ask if others found similar quotes in their browsing as well:

"If people cannot write well, they cannot think well, and if they cannot think well, others will do their thinking for them."
― George Orwell

  • “Writing has nothing to do with meaning. It has to do with landsurveying and cartography, including the mapping of countries yet to come.”
    ― Gilles Deleuze

I like the prospective Zettling character of writing that Deleuze is suggesting here; explorative thinking of lands that are there (and some are not yet formed or walled off).

I am a Zettler, ie 'one who zettles'
