Hi
Hello all. I’m a Ph.D. Candidate in International Relations in the middle of my second year of course work. I’ll be preparing for my comprehensive exam next semester and started searching for better methods to integrate all of the literatures in my field. After reading a blog at http://www.raulpacheco.org on improving writing I came across his recommendation of Ahrens book “How to Take Smart Notes” which pointed me towards this blog.
After looking a bit into this method, I see that my sticking point is in the day to day execution of writing notes and linking them. Just started reading the archived blogs from 2013 onwards and just am into the 2014 posts. Any help in the pedantic and practical working of building your own notes is appreciated.
Thanks and I look forward to discussing this system with all of you.
Howdy, Stranger!
