I have been experimenting with a zettelkasten for about a month now. I have been a prolific note-taker for many years, but just recently learned about zettelkasten. Prior to this, I kept my notes in Word files, one document per project. It has worked reasonably well, but it gets awkward when an entry is associated with two or more projects.
I am using nvALT for my zettelkasten tool. I like how clean and simple it is. Later, I will explore other options. It has taken me a bit of time to settle into this new approach to note taking, but I am enjoying it. I have about 50 zettels and have already starting using this second brain when my first brain fails me.
