Do any of you use TextExpander to add data such as timestamps, and/or the macros in TextExpander to use as templates within The Archive?

I've used TextExpander in the past but found it became too unwieldy with recent updates. Am using Typinator expansions to great success. -- If you ponder buying any of these, Keyboard Maestro can emulate similar behavior (macro execution after typing phrases) and opens up lots of interesting macro capabilities with The Archive

@Eskie I second @ctietze's advice. Keyboard Maestro offers a lot. To me, it morphs into a little assistent.

I use both software. I have ditched Text Expander for Typinator since the first used a subscription as payment. But being a Keyboard Maestro user, I have to say that it's a great piece of software. The more time you spend on it, the more you'll get fantastic benefits.

Looks like it might be a prudent move to purchase KM. I'm gonna look into if there is a way to import snippets and macros from TE to KM.
