Hi all,

My name is Simeon, and I'm employed as an Application Specialist, for a print and digital media company in New Zealand.

I've been working on improving my organisational skills for a while now, making use of nvALT on the Mac (at home), and nvPy / SimpleNote in Windows (at work), as well as the excellent Typora as an external editor. I also keep my files synced using DropBox.

Beyond the usual note taking, I also maintain task and project lists, as well as code snippets, etc. I like the freedom and flexibility of a plaint text / markdown workflow – and the low level of resistance.

I came here via the macdrifter website, and was impressed by v1.0 of The Archive. I look forward to its ongoing development, as well as reading the workflow articles and tips in the site.

Welcome, Simeon! Glad you like the app so far Task management in a note taking app sounds interesting, maybe you can share your approach with the others? I recall some discussion about mixing note types, and emacs Org-mode in particular!
