Real newbie question about UIDs and Note titles

I've looked at a few discussions in search of a good practice with regard to UIDs and titles. I like the idea of giving each zettel a unique identifier. I don't understand why some people seem to put the UID in the title, along with a title, and then repeat UID and title in the body of the note.

I am sure I am missing something obvious, but what?

    The most important reason is added redundancy to make sure you have optionality later on.

    Example: The online search of dropbox only searches in the title not content of the files. You can only access the links via Dropbox when they are in the title. (Don't know if changed)
