Thanks for the Textmate video, Christian. I wouldn't do it that way (I'm too impatient :>), but it's still useful to make the point that your Zettelkasten is not defined by the software you use to create it.
In fact, I store my ZK on Dropbox and open its text files using The Archive on my MacBook Pro and in iA Writer in my iPad and iPhone. So one doesn't need to work with only one piece of software, but can use as many as make sense for your workflow.
