v1.7.7 is the last version that runs on macOS 10.11:

All updates since have a minimum target of 10.13.
I would have loved to continue with 10.11 for v1 of the app. But I held out as long as I reasonably could: Apple is deprecating the old developer tools aggressively (so that they'll refuse to work!) and cut off support for old OS versions. Sorry!
