Just started trying the Zettelkästen method. Using multiple text editors with plain text files syncing over Nextcloud between multiple devices.

“Inoreader” now supports annotation and taking notes across all platforms, including mobile, free for taking notes, and annotation as a paid feature, maybe this can solve your problem when you have to review the article second time on your Mac.

Have you tried using Readwise as a tool to do some of this? I am beginning to use it to aggregate and filter but I am still working out the kinks on customizing the output to reflect only those things that I want to spend time on. -
I keep my RSS feeds manageable as an inbox. You can use Zotero to follow RSS feeds directly in your reference management system.
