Suggestion: Archive links when citing
I came across this via a friend, and I think it's a potentially useful little thing to do. The tweet is here, but I'll summarize: When you cite a web page in writing, instead of citing a link that will almost certainly rot in the time before someone reads the document, create an archive of the page on the internet archive and cite that instead. Much more likely to not disappear randomly.
Just a small thing, but it seems potentially useful, or at least a basis for developing some better methods.
