Just so you know if there are hiccups: I upgraded the forum's software, theme, and plugins. I am still working on some parts that look weird, but the overall migration is finished.

Native emoji input e.g. from Smartphones now works, too. Previously, the post could've been chopped off at the emoji, which sucked 🎉
