Bug: Empty title screen

Hello,

When I open up the application, I’m presented with a title screen that looks like something is missing:

The icons in the sidebar appear to be missing as well.

Good catch! That's me missing this instance of macOS adjusting the text color to white in dark mode. White text on white background doesn't work

The lefthand icons are not populated by default as discussed in https://forum.zettelkasten.de/discussion/475/missing-symbols-along-the-left-bar#latest
