ZettelKasten App
Hello everyone! 👋
First of all, I'd like to say that I'm a huge fan of the Zettelkasten Method.
I've been studying, using, and refining this approach for nearly 3 years, and it has become my favorite way to take notes, connect ideas, and learn without constantly re-reading everything. The simplicity of the method is what makes it so powerful.
Inspired by that philosophy, I built a Fully Offline Zettelkasten App that I'd love to share with fellow enthusiasts. It can be installed on both computers and smartphones, and it was designed with one core principle in mind: Your notes belong to you!.
Some of its key principles are:
- 🔒 100% offline — no servers involved.
- 🚫 No subscriptions.
- 🛡️ No cloud storage or AI dependency.
- ✨ Complete privacy and ownership of your data.
However, I'm not here just to promote an App.
What I'm really looking for, is to connect with people who enjoy the Zettelkasten Method as much as I do. I'd love to exchange ideas, discuss workflows, learn from your experiences, and become an active member of this community.
If, over time, you find my app interesting, I'd be happy to share it with you. But my priority is to contribute to the discussions, earn your trust naturally, and get to know the people who make this community so valuable.
If you're passionate about Zettelkasten, I'd be delighted to meet you and hear about how you use it.
Looking forward to the conversations!
Wishing you all the best! 😊
Howdy, Stranger!

Welcome aboard.
I totally agree, 100%. I would add that the ZK contents should be exportable as plain text, in case one wants or needs to migrate.
IMHO, workflows should be so light as to be nearly invisible. The real point is the thinking and the ideas. Some workflow may be needed but should stay out of the way.
