tags window stuck in the middle of the screen

Hello! New user here. Does anyone have some help/a fix for this?

on Mac OS Tahoe 26.3.1

• hashtag triggers a window of previous tags
• I create a new tag and so don't use it
• it stays on the screen across multiple notes
• closing app doesn't end this -- they are still in the middle of my screen...
• until I exit app completely.

That seriously sounds like a candidate for a macOS bug, but one never knows. I can't reproduce this on my machine (same macOS version), so I'll see whether I can effectively guess a way to close that auxiliary window where the OS doesn't!
