need English manual for Zettelkasten 3, version 3.8 Window App

I installed "Zettelkasten 3", version 3.8, Window App (English version) and I am looking for full manual and/or instruction videos explaining how to use this App. I downloaded all Youtube videos by Dr. Daniel Lüdecke about "Zettelkasten 3" (see e.g. (13 years old !) and subsequent videos), but 1. these are in German (I do speak/understand some German) but also these do not describe the English version that I installed and 2. they don't seem to cover all features. In any case, they are not suffieicient for me to learn to use my current English version. Is there any recent instruction material (manual, Youtube videos) to get me going ? Is this program still alive and being used at all ? Thank you.

  • @Martin: thank you so much. I was not aware of the wiki page; I'll have a look. But your second link, to the English manual (by H.G.W. Davie) is amazing. It seems (at 1st glance) much much more than I could ever have hoped for. Many thanks for sending the link and kudos to H.G.W. Davie for all the work. Luckily I am retired now, because it will take some time to digest. Meanwhile I am also looking at alternatives like e.g. Obsidian and others. Also a lot of work, e.g. watching lots of YT videos. If you have experience and interesting thoughts about that (i.e. which (free and not per se cloud based) App seems best digital implementation of the Zettelkasten concept) then I would be interested to hear. I especially look forward combining my brand new reMarkable Paper Pro (color) e-ink tablet manual note taking with the best Zettelkasten SW. reMarkable is awesome, I owned reMarkable 1; gave to my daughter when upgrading to reMarkable 2, which I now gave to my son. This Zettelkasten principle is a complete eye-opener though, whish I new about it when I was still in college. Learning would have been so much easier?
