I get the following disclaimer. I tried with different browsers, cards, without non-English characters but couldn't make the purchase.
"We regret that your order could not be accepted. We value your business and would like to help you complete this order. Please contact us for assistance."
Edit: After endless hours of trying, I could be able to do the purchase through Amazon Pay

Sorry for the trouble. I didn't know about any server maintenance or hiccups in advance by FastSpring, our ecommerce provider. Glad it worked out. Usually, credit card problems boild down to (wrong) risk assessment
