[Saved] search for untagged notes
Hi all - anyone know if there's a way in the archive to search for notes without any tags? I currently use #in as an inbox for notes that I've transferred from notecards, but haven't fully integrated yet. However, if I forget to add it, as I'm often want to do whilst meandering notes, then those files become stranded.
Every "complete" note in my system has some kind of tag, whether as a source, main, or structural note, for example. So, the default no-tag = inbox is by far the easiest way to track this and eliminate me screwing things up.
Anywho, I've been searching for a better part of half an hour assuming this had to have been answered in the forums already, but I can't find it. Can anybody help me out? Thanks!

Try

That will also match and exclude headings, though
Otherwise, a plug-in could solve this: walk over all notes, and exclude those where
tags
is not empty.Author at Zettelkasten.de • https://christiantietze.de/
Thanks Christian! I'll fiddle with the plug-in option when I get a chance. If I start having to mentally avoid headings, I might brick my brain entirely, haha.
This is exactly why I have adopted Google drive as my platform for my notes. I know it doesn't work well for everyone but for someone like me (with no coding experience and seeking an easier platform) it has worked fantastically.
