Workaround for backlinking in archive (pls help)

Hi guys. I need to know which notes are having backlink to the particular note I'm working on, so in case it I change it dramatically I can go and adjust those notes which are linking to it too.

But I think there is no native backlinking in Archive the way there is in Obsidian.

Can anyone help me with a workaround (any plug-in, KM shortcut, black magic, etc) that gets me to see the backlinks to a given note in Archive

Here is the black magic. Magic hidden in plain sight.
Back-links are self-referential note list entries.

I'll demonstrate with a series of screenshots.

    1. A search in the OmniBar produces a list of note candidates.

    1. Select the note of interest. Then select that note's UID link.

    1. All the backlinks are populated in the note list to the note of interest, in this case Linking and Back Linking ›[[201901081201]].

  • Thanks @Will - always to the rescue!

I think this works - I also found the article about backlinks needing to be forward links mentioned in your note really interesting, will probably search for it and read that too.

  • In this screenshot, I show the forward links that I use to give context to search. I switched to a different note in the same thread as it is more complete as an example.
