Can't download The Archive to new MacBook Air, please help

Hi everyone,
I've been using The Archive for the last several years and went to move it to a new MacBook Air and I can't for the life of me get it to work. Every time I download it and try to run the program, the icon just bounces up and down on the tool bar, not responding, until I finally kill it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Nevermind, resolved. I had tried to connect it my iCloud Drive in order to keep it backed up at all times, but this created an infinite loop. I renamed the folder to and this prompted The Archive to ask me for a new folder to use as the directory.

    Happy to hear you got it working! It's frustrating how cloud sync services (esp. the deeply integrated iCloud) can keep an app in such a limbo state without any feedback :/
