Library charging trays for vertically oriented 3 x 5″ index cards

For the analog aficionados, and building on my ever-growing collection of boxes for slip storage, I've written about a couple of vintage library charging trays I acquired recently along with some ideas for searching for and buying your own. In particular, these desktop boxes are designed to hold 3x5" index cards in a vertical position rather than the traditionally used horizontal one.
