Advent of Emacs: Academic workflows

To nerd out about academic writing workflows in Emacs, this December brought us some interesting details by Chan Chung Hong:

• Bibliography management using a BibTeX file and fetching metadata of papers based on the DOI
• Citing in emacs based on the BibTeX file
• Academic writing using RMarkdown, and quickly exporting PDFs

Since we talk about BibTeX as a great format with good tooling for literature management a lot around here, this workflow is quite compatible with a Zettelkasten that is set up with it in mind.

The series continues, but currently the focus in more on the "R" programming part than writing. Couldn't wait for the end of the series to share this, though
