The Art of Note-Making (as distinct from Note-Taking)
I recently read the following article by Mike Schmitz, which I found had enough resonance with discussions on this forum to share here:
https://thesweetsetup.com/the-art-of-note-making/
If anyone does read through it and his examples, or if anyone has read some of the "Linking your Thinking" materials, do you consider his term "Map of Content" to be the same (or perhaps similar but not exactly the same) as the way the term "Structure Note" is often used in this forum?
I like the distinction Mike Schmitz makes between:
- Things I may need to reference
- Tasks I will need to do
- Ideas I want to develop
and also his comments on deciding what goes into his ZK versus what does not.
