Someone reminded me of this book (and quote) recently, which tongue firmly in cheek Dirk Gently could have applied to his Zettelkasten:

I operate by investigating the fundamental interconnectedness of all things. Every particle in the universe affects every other particle, however faintly or obliquely. Everything interconnects with everything.

That's as holistic as a detective agency gets! Luhmann's super-theory was a theory that contained itself, and the Zettelkasten contains knowledge about itself, but is a holistic detective agency now more, less, or equally powerful as a super-theory of everything? 🤔
