Scriptability
Looks like scriptability is up next on the roadmap. What does this mean and how can we help?
It looks like we may have skipped ahead with the "Inline Image Preview".

My zettelkasten is for my ideas, not the ideas of others. I don’t want to waste my time tinkering with my ZK; I’d rather dive into the work itself. My peak cognition is behind me. One day soon, I will read my last book, write my last note, eat my last meal, and kiss my sweetie for the last time.

Just a guess that it's referring to AppleScript functionality.
Professionally I'm a collaborative pianist & chamber music coach,
This might be a good opportunity to thank you, Christian, for the development of the Archive. It’s my most valuable app. Thank you for making it even better.
Thanks for the feedback @Sönke! That means a lot.
This reply was in draft since February, but we decided to not spoil too much in public for the time being. Stay tuned! We'll reach out once we need testers

Just putting in my vote for AppleScript scriptability. Evernote had excellent AppleScript support and would be a good model to follow (Evernote 7 and prior, the "new" Evernote 10 is completely gutted).
While AppleScript might seem dated, you're not stuck with AppleScript syntax, users can choose JavaScript as an alternative. Users can also generate an API and drive an AppleScript app from a Cocoa application using native Objective-C or Swift via ScriptingBridge.
AppleScript doesn't seem to go anywhere, so that's definitely useful
Upcoming macOS Monterey Shortcuts are going to be amazing, too, for end users, requiring even less coding skills. Can hardly keep up with all the changes to Mac
