  • Thanks. This is a cool tip.

My zettelkasten is for my ideas, not the ideas of others. I don’t want to waste my time tinkering with my ZK; I’d rather dive into the work itself. My peak cognition is behind me. One day soon, I will read my last book, write my last note, eat my last meal, and kiss my sweetie for the last time.

  • Perfect. I do this when researching family history; great idea for when creating fleeting notes of what I've read.

That's a similar bookmark-to-write-on idea at its core, but the author folds a sheet of paper into 1/3 to have more room for notes and, notably, sketches!

Thank you, @ctietze for sharing this great video from Doug Neill 😀👍

I love this way to combine note-taking and Sketchnoting. The next step should be using Zettelkasten as well. For me it feels a bit like juggling with concepts. That’s fun.

  • Interesting. I like the idea of such a "journeyman" to keep track of where I was at. Because amidst processing, I could have intentions about several notes in many places. And what to do with them.

This deep "work context" will not be apparent when I come back next day or later, and look at the individual notes from the outside.
