A brief rant on note-taking apps and the structure of thought - @Conaw
Some really interesting thoughts on the intersection between thinking and note-taking apps from the creator of Roam Research. A lot of overlapping ideas with what is discussed here.
I especially found interesting the idea that our thoughts in our minds are graphs but they are transformed into streams/strings as they come out the mouth, and that what we're trying to do is re-construct those graphs with our note-taking tools (when we're using them to think).

There are some pretty interesting thoughts in here. It's too bad the author's answer to the quandaries he poses was yet another software-as-a-service silo with a pile of adtech mixed in.
