[BUG] Open Links at Selection

The only (sadly annoying) solution would be to search for "#tag " OR "#tag[whatever line break is]" But as I am thinking. In German, we have an abundance of compounds, too. It doesn't affect me that much. Perhaps your issues might be workflow-related? If you go into more detail with a use case, I could help you more. -

I don't know how software handles tags, but I would assume you don't need a pound sign for tag names in a YAML header. So this would be fine I guess: tags: ["science", "article", "medical"] The pound sign is used to make tags human readable, when you use #tags embedded into your texts. -
Re: why do we have different syntax for bibliography and links?
Good point: if a program is looking for #tags like this, it should be aware of [#authorYEAR] citation exceptions. (If the current plug-in implementation you mention isn't doing that, I'll fix that!)
