Saint Augustine instructs Francesco Petrarch on the ZKM
Critique my zettel. This one is an atomized idea from my reading of _Manguel, Alberto. A history of reading. 2014. _ It is longish at 436 words and includes AI help with translation, a Wikipedia link, the relevant quote, and my assimilation into my ZK. With your help, it can be improved. The content of this note might be… -
Share your ZK plans for 17 July - 23 July 2022
What are your plans for zettelkasting this week? My plans for this coming week include continuing my deep dive into The Tao of Travel by Paul Theroux. Theroux's book is an interesting turn on the philosophy of travel. I'm connecting ideas about the philosophy of travel with relativity and space/time. I'm starting the book… -
[Bug Report] Multiple tabs and windows triggered by Saved Search hotkey
I have a hot key associated with the #proofing Saved Search. After the last update the hotkey now triggers the saved search in all tabs and all the multiple windows that are open rather than just the one with the focus. I usually operate in the two-window mode. I tried changing the hotkey but no joy. -
Re: Share your ZK plans for 15 MAY - 21 May.
EDIT: I don't want to leave the impression that the ten books above are the only books I've processed into my ZK. They just prove to be the 10 most integrated book notes. These are today's stats. 13 [Zettel Proofing](thearchive://match/"#proofing").108 [Books Processed](thearchive://match/"#book").57 [Blog… -

Re: GPT4 Zettel Critique Assistant (Robo Zettel Feedback)
@ZettelDistraction, I hope I speak for others on the forum, you are doing a stellar job with this. My saga continues. I now have a sense of why a See Also section is recommended. I sort of have been doing this sometimes, incidentally. My practice is to put links interstitially in the note. The rule I use is 'put the link… -
Re: GPT4 Zettel Critique Assistant (Robo Zettel Feedback)
I just finished capturing the ideas from Bianca Pereira's YouTube video presentation, "Linked Knowledge Does Not Work." A clickbaity title if there ever was one. She does make an uncommon and timely point. I ran them through the Zettel Critique Assistant. Here are the results. This turns out to be a worthwhile exercise.… -
Re: Introduction and Questions
I took some time before dinner to start the refactoring of PD Overview (NINDS) 202207130901, now titled PD Pathology (NINDS) 202207130901. It is still in the "#proofing" oven. I'll sleep on the ideas and see how I feel about it tomorrow. It has shrunk from 1056 to 247 words and a more atomic idea of ## Pathology. Some of…
