Hope it's okay to bump an old post. Did you ever find a good solution for Android?
If you use markdown files, there is "Markor": https://f-droid.org/en/packages/net.gsantner.markor/
With "Markor" you can view any markdown file which support "really" links in markdown syntax Description.
