"Naming Things" Computer Literacy Tips

Her three principles, brought forward in much detail:

  1. machine readable
  2. human readable
  3. plays well with default ordering

I think this is good to have ready when one works with less tech-savvy people to bring them up to speed in your team.

  • Ooooh I really like the deliberate distinction between _ and - for metadata. I have already been instinctively doing something like that, but inconsistently. Now I understand why I was doing it. :)
