[request] Windows referring two different directories

for my workflow I have a folder for reading notes + general notes and an other one for Zettels only.
Would it be possible to have two windows simulatiousely open referring to two different directories?

At the moment I use nvALT and The Archive, but I would prefer to use only one program for all notes

Do you have other suggestions?
