Dave Gauer's 10y+ logging practice
Dave Gauer summarizes his daily logging practice of 10+ years.

- do have a ubiquitous capturing device: notebook and pen
- do review weekly: a shitty week more often than not turns out to be 2 shitty days dominating your memories
full text search alone doesn't help find things that exist with a slightly different wording than you'd expect
- I leave breadcrumbs in my ZK when I have a miserable time finding something to strengthen it retrievability
do log events that cause negative emotions, but don't log the emotion; no need to feel miserable again
