Pre-purchase question: hiding long link URLs

I'm new to zettelkasten, and am trying out The Archive. I've created my first note, which contains the citation data and table of contents for a book I'm reading. I'm using Hookmark hooks to link from the table of contents. So, clicking a link in the note takes me to the linked page in the PDF. But hook links tend to be long, and add visual clutter to the note. Is there a way to hide the URL, leaving only the syntax coloring to show that the item is linked (without rendering the note in Marked2)?

"Folding" syntax like this is on our roadmap for consideration (not yet decided when this is tackled), but its not implemented in the app at the moment.
