Zetteldeft: How to delete a Zettel

Sounds like a dump question for me. But I do not get it.
How do I delete a zettel in zetteldeft?
I can not find this feature in the documentation at https://www.eliasstorms.net/zetteldeft

• Zetteldeft apparently only creates regular files on your behalf: https://www.eliasstorms.net/zetteldeft/#orgd1d9628

So when you are visiting a file in Emacs, you can use M-x delete-file. If there's no helper in the zetteldeft- namespace, this is a bit clumsy, though, so maybe you want to try: http://www.ergoemacs.org/emacs/elisp_delete-current-file.html

• Thanks for your reply. What is the keyboard shortcut for M-x delete-file ?
The ergomacs link only offers custom functions/methods.

This is not what I mean. M-x delete-file does not refere to the current open file or the file in deft main window which is under my cursor/point.

It is C-c C-d in the deft-main-window (C-c d D).
