Catalina: Permission to receive keystrokes from any app?
Hello, I'm trying The Archive software. On the initial start, there's a macOS security prompt (10.15.4) that prompts, "The Archive would like to receive keystrokes from any application." Is this for external editors?

I'll look into that on a fresh install of Catalina! (My main machine is on Mojave, still.)
It's likely the system default response to an application that is opening up itself to be scriptable, but the wording sounds weird.

I think that I recently encountered this question for permissions when I wanted to set the system wide quick entry keyboard shortcut in Settings > Advanced.
Ah that makes sense, thanks for the pointer!
