[SOLVED] [REQUEST] Keyboard shortcut to open directly to the omnibar
I'm a new The Archive user and am in the process of migrating from my longtime favorite, nvALT. I like the keyboard shortcut that is available to open a new note, but would like on that jumps directly to the search bar (like nvALT). If there is one and I'm just missing it, please let me know. If not please consider this request. I'm sure I could use Keyboard Maestro or Alfred, but would rather have it in the app.
I'm really happy with The Archive after trying a couple of other nvALT replacements. Great work!

Cmd-L? Or am I missing something? Cmd-L will go to the omnibar immediately and can be used to create a new note or search.

@davistech You mean a system-global shortcut to open the app and focus the Omnibar from anywhere? -- that's on my list of refinements after the next "big" update is finished!

While you are on refinements @ctietze (or big updates), is "notes in separate windows" in the cards? I know that's not very nvALT-ish, but man, it would be useful!

@apoc527 better open a new thread for this so we can discuss it there!
